Myriam O nació en Chile, es una artista multidisciplinaria pintora, músico, cantante profesional y poeta. Los recuerdos más preciados de su niñez son asistir a la ópera en el Teatro Municipal de Santiago y observar una y otra vez las páginas de libros de arte y museos.  Ella ha disfrutado de una sólida carrera en el jazz y la música latinoamericana, por lo que su pintura quedó por un tiempo en compás de espera.  Sin embargo, es en ella donde siempre encontró ese anhelado espacio de silencio. Decide entonces retomar sus pinceles y óleos, pues pintar es una pasión que simplemente ya no pudo dejar de lado. Su dedicación exclusiva es al arte y lo creativo, ya que si no está pintando en su taller, está estudiando su repertorio musical o escribiendo cuentos y poesía frecuentemente en diálogo con su obra. En la artista queda plasmado aquello de la creación en solitario, pues se repliega sobre sus propias vivencias como si fueran largos viajes, intentando expresar de forma honesta su pasión por el mundo natural que la rodea, atmósferas, luces,  sombra y color. En búsqueda permanente, no teme experimentar con distintas técnicas y soportes, como son los collages en papel en PRINTS y los dibujos realistas de mascotas por encargo.

Chile born multi talented artist, professional oil painter and performer. Her fondest childhood memories are those of attending the opera and turning the pages of art and museum books. She has enjoyed a successful career as an interpreter of jazz standards and Latin songs but in painting remained her much-sought world of silence. Thus, she decided to devote herself equally to both disciplines some years ago, a decision she has never regretted for her artistic life became even more fulfilling and brought her recognition beyond Chilean borders. Her paintings remain in private collections in Chile, USA, England and Denmark, and public collections in Malta. She has participated in two biennials: in Buenos Aires Argentina in 2014 and 2015-2016 in Malta, participant artist and performer in The Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale. Also in Malta, and invited by CARAVAN  —non profit organization focused in peace building through the Arts between the creeds and cultures of the East and West— she participated in the exhibition "Mediterranean Peace Donkey". Welcomed into Raven Art Society gallery in London UK with a series of oils. More recently, at Johnson's Gallery also in London, with oils and digital drawings. She remains an active artist in Chile, taking part in collective exhibitions every year. In September 2019 she held a successful solo exhibition in Bosque Nativo Art Gallery, a Foundation for Culture and the Arts located in Puerto Varas, Chile.  EYES UP finally landed in Santiago, June 2021, at CORPORACIÓN CULTURAL DE LAS CONDES.
